E 71, 047202 (2005) [3 pages]Colored noise in quantum chaosReceived 31 December 2004; published 14 April 2005 We derive a set of spectral statistics whose power spectrum is characterized, in the case of chaotic quantum systems, by colored noise 1∕fγ, where the integer parameter γ critically depends on the specific energy-level statistic considered. In the case of regular quantum systems these spectral statistics show 1∕fγ+1 noise. © 2005 The American Physical Society URL:
